Meet Lori

Hello there, and thanks for stopping by!

You’ve probably learned to keep it all together: for your team, your family, your community. But holding everything so tightly has its cost.

I created EmbraceWell, LLC as a space for the people who carry a lot: leaders, caregivers, sensitive souls, those navigating loss or identity wounds, to finally set some of it down.

I’m Lori Jones, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) based in Massachusetts. For over 15 years I’ve partnered with adults who feel deeply; those navigating anxiety, grief, identity-based or religious wounds, and the subtle ache of being a highly sensitive person in a world that expects you to toughen up.

My guiding belief: healing isn’t about “fixing” you, it’s about reconnecting with who you are beneath the worry, the loss, the questions. In this space you will be seen, your sensitivity will be honored, and we’ll move together toward steadiness, not just relief

please Hear me when I say:

Healing isn’t one-size-fits-all.

I’ve been in the mental health field for over 15 years, and if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that healing isn’t one-size-fits-all. Everyone’s journey is different, and that’s what makes this work so meaningful to me.

How I work

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to you.

We slow down enough to listen to what your body and inner parts are trying to say, using trauma-informed methods like Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, and Brainspotting to reach the places talk therapy can’t always touch. I’m a Certified Grief Counseling Specialist and Level 1 trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS). I also draw from somatic mindfulness and person-centered therapy to help you explore the patterns, hurts, and longings beneath what’s on the surface. The work we do isn’t about perfection or performance; it’s about rebuilding trust with yourself, tending to what’s been silenced, and learning how to rest inside your own life again.

You might come because your thoughts won’t quiet, because you’re grieving something invisible, because your identity or faith has felt fractured, or because “enough” never seems to stick. Together we’ll hold the anxiety, the grief, the identity questions, and the sensitivity with care, and begin to rewrite your internal story in a way that feels true to you.

Outside the Therapy Room

I’m a lover of slow mornings, gardening, trying out new recipes, and curling up with my husband to laugh at something random on Netflix or go down a good YouTube rabbit hole.

I believe that the healing journey we take in therapy mirrors everyday life: roots growing, stories unfolding, small choices that matter.

“The human soul doesn’t want to be advised or fixed or saved. It simply wants to be witnessed — to be seen, heard and companioned exactly as it is. ”
